BCD's Welcome!

Since 1980 BCD Associates, Inc. has manufactured video control and time code systems. In 2008 we shook up the industry with our rack mount, industrial, RS-232 Controlled DVD-1150 DVD recorder.  In 2015 BCD introduced the remarkably versatile High Definition BCD HDi-250 HD Recorder. Now popular with both Military and City Government as a utility recorder.  We invite you to explore our site and look around.  Please fill out our Contact Form or call us at 800-223-6734 to find out more.

Clients Comment on the HDi

The HDi series is relatively new, so there aren't many comments, but we're generally pleased with what we've received.

  • from a reseller:  "...  It is good as the process has been simplified.

The device also started displaying the live video and audio after boot up [video loop through].   So this is also good.

And then I transferred the same video files before to an USB stick after formatting. All Played!!! Wala!! Happy days!! And now to the next test….  I recorded a new file. And I transferred this new file and all the older files to the same USB stick (after formatting). And all played!!!! I am so happy.
  • City Government:  "I’m still in the process of building out the new control room for our new tv station/ production room. I tested it on a table for a while and it seemed to work out great. It’s straight to the point and I hope to have it recording for the next 10 years."
  • From a reseller:  "They [clients] have mentioned that the quality of DVDs produced by the BCD is superior [to their current DVD recorder], and obviously the HD files are in another league altogether."
  • From an Army user: Fits wall in the rack.  Makes good pictures.

Hi Def and DVD

The church's AV Coordinator had a problem: The church had spent thousands of dollars on new 1080 cameras and projectors.  Fantastic pictures!  But some members were shut-ins who relied on DVDs of each service.  The HDi-250 offered both: HD and DVD recording.  Problem solved.
