Welcome to BCD's Updates page. Here are Flash firmware updates for the SB-100 & VC-16, revision notices and hex files for the TC-100 and AG-2650C, miscellaneous utilities, and even a link for a CD-ROM drive that we don't make!

The files are either PKZip compressed or self-extracting archives. Some of these are "HTML Downloads", not "FTP", so some MS Internet Explorer users may want to "Save Target As" instead of just clicking on the file name.

  • VC-16 DVD (and other) Controller Flash ROM and Utility Updates

  • SB-100 Control/Time Code System Flash ROM and Utility Updates

  • AG-2550C/AG-2560C PC-VCR
Commands. Text file preformatted as HTML.

  • PKZip 2.04g (about 200K) Self-extracting .exe file with PKZip & PKUnzip. Use this to uncompress BCD and other 'ZIP' files.

    Important BCD Programs
  • *** BCDComm.zip *** (Get This !)
(about 10K) BCD's small MS-DOS RS-232 terminal program for communication with BCD Controllers, TC-100, AG-2550C VCR, and just about anything else. Uses the one-line BCD.PRM text file to set the serial port. (This is the same as the 5KECHO.EXE program furnished on some BCD Freedisks).

  • *** FlashBCD.zip *** (SB-100 & VC-16)
This is the program used to update our Flash-ROM controllers.
  • BCDUTIL.EXE (Self-extracting archive, about 112K)
This has most of the old MS-DOS routines used with the BCD-1000, BCD-4000, and VIPc controller cards.

  • Amiga Utilities for BCD-2000A

  • CD-ROM Drivers We don't make CD-ROM drives, but the BTC company (Behavior Technology Corp.) in Taiwan does, or did. They have CD-ROM drives with the name BCD and/or BTC on the drive, the boot message, and the diskette. We get email about twice per week asking for updated drivers. A nice user located their site for drivers and sent us the URL: http://www.btcusa.com/. This link worked 7/29/2000.
Please Do Not Call BCD Associates about BTC CD-ROM drives.
