BCD’s Custom Browsers let our clients decide which information will be accessible to the touch screen user. For the campus-wide information system, Francis Tuttle Vo-Tech chose to limit the user’s actions to Scroll/Page Up/Down and Forward/Back. Francis Tuttle Vo-Tech (new broswer window)
This provides enough navigation to let students review class availability and check on current
school news. In these systems, the keyboard and mouse are unavailable. Other systems may
be equipped with either on-screen or conventional keyboards.
Our browser is fully customizable: the buttons are graphic files.
In this application, the large graphic in the lower center is really the “home” button. The
browser also supports all popular Internet technology including Java.
