MPEG-2 Encoding! Zapex R.I.P After five years in the MPEG-2 encoder business, Brother International has closed its Zapex division. We regret this, because Zapex encoders produce very good pictures, even at low to moderate bitrates, and they offer real-time Dolby Digital AC-3 audio encoding. BCD is now looking for a replacement encoder to sell. Stay tuned -- we'll keep you advised.
