HD HDMI to DVD
Not an easy thing but we do it! Plug in HD HDMI and the HDi-250 automatically downconverts and transcodes to DVD format files. Then burn a disc from the front panel or via remote. Simply Amazing!
Remote DVD Burning
From a Crestron, AMX or RS-232 controller, issue these commands
RECS record from current input
STOP stops the recording
MARK 1 marks/selects the most recent file
BURN 3 makes a DVD with Motion Icon Menu
Disc ejects when it's finished.
A one-hour DVD takes about 5 minutes to burn to a +/-R disc.
Not ready for HD video yet?
The HDi-250 records and plays standard resolution composite video, too. The HDi-250 is perfect for existing installations and has the capability to grow with your system.
The HDi series is relatively new, so there aren't many comments, but we're generally pleased with those comments we've received.

The church's AV Coordinator had a problem: The church had spent thousands of dollars on new 1080 cameras and projectors. Fantastic pictures! But some members were shut-ins who relied on DVDs of each service. The HDi-250 offered both: HD archives and DVD recording. Problem solved. The HDi-250 can transcode & resize incoming video on the fly.
