DVD Authoring for Buttons
Nothing very special about Authoring for Buttons. Use a Main Menu with several Menu Items as usual. The only thing different is that you make the main menu hot spots invisible.

USB Virtual Com Port (VCP) Driver for the DVD-1150.  Use Windows Hyperterminal to control the DVD-1150 through your USB port.  Windows assigns a 'Virtual' serial port.  This executable is for Windows 2000, XP32/64, Vista32/64.  MacOS & Linux drivers are available at the FTDI site  http://www.ftdichip.com/Drivers/VCP.htm

 

FlashMagic is the tool from http://esacademy.com that we use for uploading new firmware to the VC-16b, the TC-100b, and the controller section of the DVD-1150.  This is a Windows application that requires installation on your computer and requires an RS-232 serial port.

BCD 'Outload File' Transfer for DVD-1150HDD  - Beta 5-12-2008
Tranfers raw MPEG-2 files from the DVD-1150HDD hard disk drive to a local PC via USB.  (It's a Linux program running under DOS for Windows machines!)  Zip file includes 'lock' and 'unlock' routines to prohibit Windows from changing the length of the MPG files.    NOT RECOMMENDED because the entire Outload system is too strange.
